OUR VISION: SPREADING THE FRESH HOPE OF JESUS TO THE SEACOAST

Along the Seacoast, we know what it’s like to have the land draped in fog.In a similar way, events of recent years have contributed to a tense and uncomfortable climate. Anxiety, despair and uncertainty have settled in. It’s hard to see forward. People are on edge. They are lonely. The air has become heavy and oppressive.

Like a fresh new breeze, we believe God wants to move across this region so that the Seacoast sees His Son-Jesus, the answer for all of our deepest needs, the fresh hope we all need. Towards that end, we believe God is calling Hope Community Church to cultivate a movement of individuals, ministries and churches so that the Seacoast discovers the fresh hope found in Jesus and His Kingdom.

How can we spread fresh hope that transforms the Seacoast?

He wants to begin with each of us. While we have found Jesus as our anchor, we still experience the struggles around us. We need fresh reminders of His love and presence. We need the power of the Holy Spirit so we may abound in hope. We will continue to grow and be a community of Hope.

We want this hope to radiate out so we will obey His call to develop hope-filled disciples who strive to love God and others. We will go where He leads us-corporately and individually-seeking to sow seeds of Gospel hope through our words and actions. Our goal is not to build Hope Community Church, rather, the Kingdom of God in the Seacoast. To that end we will send out disciples, leaders and communities to foster fresh hope throughout the Seacoast. We will partner with others to shift the spiritual landscape.

Together, we will seek God’s face asking Him to open doors so we can be a fragrance of hope through relationships and service. We will use our facility, our resources, and our collective witness in the hope that friends, family members and countless others would see Jesus as their King, the love of their life and their fresh hope moving forward.
