FAMILY LIFE
FAMILY LIFE
Welcome to
FAMILY LIFE
We know raising a family is one of God’s highest callings… we also know it isn’t easy. That’s why we endeavor to do life together.
The Family Life ministry of Hope Community Church equips children, youth, and families to develop for themselves, and share with others, a growing faith in Jesus Christ that sets an example of a gospel-centered lifestyle.
When visiting Hope - make your way to the Land “Rover” to check your child(ren) in and receive their name tag and pick up ticket. First time visitors will need to complete a Family Information Form which you can download and fill out ahead of time or receive a hard copy that day.
On Sundays during the service, we have childcare for infants and toddlers, and age-appropriate teaching for children Pre-School thru 6th grade that is led by a team of volunteers. Following the worship service bring your pick-up ticket to collect your child(ren) from their classroom(s) and then enjoy some fellowship in the atrium or play in the gym.
Sunday nights during the school year we have Elevation 412 (Youth Group) for our 5th-12th graders.
Your involvement in our children & youth ministry is welcome! Whether you’re interested in helping in a classroom, checking in children at the Rover, prayer or supporting a special event - we have a place for you.
Come be a part of the Hope family as we journey together in this life of faith!
Birth-1st Grade
THE COVE
Nursery (Birth-Toddler)
We can't wait to meet your little one! The nursery program provides loving arms to hold the little ones and a space for the kids to play together and learn that church is a fun place to be.
Getting a new child acclimated takes time, here are some answers to frequently asked questions:
-You can drop off anytime between 9:20am until when the children are dismissed from the service.
-We have a call system so you can be reached during the service if your child needs you while you worship in the sanctuary.
-Unless instructed otherwise, the helping hands will change diapers as needed. We ask that you provide diapers and wipes.
-Please leave “special” toys in your diaper bag so they aren’t lost.
-There are 2 rooms available to separate babies and crawlers from toddlers when necessary.
-There is also a Mother's Room located at the back of the sanctuary where you can watch and listen to the service. This room is accessed from the atrium.
-If you’re not ready to leave your child(ren), the service is live streamed to the atrium from the sanctuary, so you can watch the sermon while you care for your child’s needs.
We hope you enjoy the worship service while we care for your little one(s).
The Seahorse Class (Pre-K - 1st Grade)
Our children are led by a fantastic team of teachers and helping hands so our kids learn that God loves us and wants us to love others! This age group will have a Bible story, craft, snack and time to play together. You can drop off any time after 9:20am or have your child(ren) attend the opening worship music and accompany them to class when the kids are dismissed from the service. Children must be potty trained to be in this class. The curriculum we are following is called “Kids Own Worship.”
2nd-4th Grade
KIDSPORT
Our dedicated team of teachers and helping hands uses Bible stories, video, object lessons, crafts and other means to creatively communicate God's truth and engage kids in their faith. After checking in at the “Rover” join us in the sanctuary for the opening worship music where the kids will be dismissed before the sermon. Upon dismissal they will line up to go to their classroom together.
